Joining the celebration and creating massive awareness in the economic sector in Nigeria is Simba Group, one of the most respected conglomerates with operations across Nigeria’s most dynamic economic sectors and distributors of the TVS King tricycles.

For International Women’s Day, Simba Group is creating awareness and empowering underprivilege, underrepresented women, teaching them in the act of handling, driving and repairing tricycles as a means of livelihood. This program was born from the Group’s desire to train women from underrepresented backgrounds, so that they have a chance to increase their total family income. The Simba Training School which also conducts advanced mechanic courses, has provided training to these riders, free of cost.

Over the course of the years Simba Group, one of the country’s most respected business groups, with over 30 years has graduated empowered over 1000 women all over Nigeria. On the 7th March 2019 Simba Group will be graduating another set of 60 graduates in the handling and repair of tricycles thereby encouraging, and achieving gender equal society for Nigeria women in the automobile industry.

The ceremony will be presided by Mama Keke – Mrs. Kuforiji Olubunmi Folake, CEO M.I.S.S Microfinance Bank- Mrs Nwosu Judith, renounce Actor, producer and Director Chioma Akpotha, and senior executives of Simba Group.
